Indiana is not just a sunset. It is a symphony at full crescendo. Here is the Midwest at its most operatic. The sky is alive with thick impasto - bruised purples, oranges and pinks tearing open to reveal a brilliant cerulean blue. There is no figure here, but the presence is human. This is the sky you remember from a long drive, from childhood, when you pulled over just to watch it. It is vast, humbling, optimistic.
This is a piece with massive wall presence - perfect as a statement work for a living room, office or primary bedroom where you want light year round. This is a piece that you don’t just hang. You turn to it at the end of the day.
Oil on panel - 12 × 12 in. / 30 × 30 cm.
Hand crafted frame of oak.
Collector delivery fee included - custom crated and fully insured.
